The power of thoughts as curses and prayer in a digital realm of thoughts. The internet is presented as a liminal spiritual space, connecting to the collective subconscious, dreams and spirits. A prayer mat serves as a portal to access a digital protection amulet with an Urdu activation word (translation: Nazar). The shape of the mat is reminiscent of phones and tablets screens. The symbol used within the digital space is commonly repeated in South asian architecture and patterns even in the prayer mat. I use it to symbolise a gateway within my work. Here I have created a blender model of it and it is seen in the digital space.
